Place des Vosges - Flytographer Review

Flytographer Review, Paris, Engagement, Place des Vosges, travel, places,
Paris was an absolute dream. There really are no words to describe this city. You instantly feel a sense of enamourment when you arrive. The sounds, the sights, the food; it really is everything and more. I'm going to be going more into detail on our trip (and yes our engagement!!) but for now, I wanted to share some photos of our morning at Place des Vosges. We headed there early on the day after our arrival. Before we left for our trip I had booked a photography session with Flytographer. I really just wanted some photos of ourselves, that weren't selfies, and this seemed like the best way to do it. It was a Tuesday so locals were busy hurrying off to work and we had the square to ourselves. After a bit of a mix up (I was still in Greece time, so we arrived an hour early...lol!), our photographer arrived and we met Olga. She was an absolute pleasure to shoot with. If you're thinking of booking a Flytographer package, do it! I highly recommend it and here's why. And btw- this post is in no way sponsored! I just truly loved my experience with them!

1. A keepsake. I always come home from vacations and realize I have tons of photos of the city, but none of us enjoying it. Having a photographer ensures you'll have some quality keepsake photos to last forever. When I booked our session I had NO idea that these photos would turn into something more... basically an engagement shoot! The selfies we took after he proposed are truly priceless... I mean there are tears streaming down my face, we're sweating from hiking up a hill and the sun is glaring in our eyes, but these ones are just a bit more polished.

2. Effective and efficient with the camera. Not everyone knows how to use a camera. When you ask other people (locals and tourists alike), they may not necessarily know how to use your camera properly and you may go back to the photo and realize they have cropped off your heads, or have blurred your faces. With Flytographer the photographers use their own gear and know how to use it. Olga brought with her 3 different lenses! She was a machine on the lens and caught the moment in just one take. She wasn't afraid to jump into oncoming traffic, get down low and jump on cafe patios to get the perfect shot!

3. The photographers know the city. Olga was amazing. She let us wander and decide how we wanted the shoot to go. I wanted an empty street, she knew where to go. I wanted a flower shop to pick up a rose, and she was on it.

4. Fast and reliable. Our photo album was edited and sent to us just five days after the photos were taken! Sometimes photographers can take so long to return the photos to you. I couldn't believe how quick the turnaround was. Also since Flytographer is a service, you coordinate all shoots with a concierge service who is there to help you and ensure the shoot is managed and executed without a hitch.

5. Affordable. Before I found Flytographer I reached out to photographers in Paris. They wanted over $1000 for a photoshoot that would give us max 20 photos! I was shocked. With Flytographer you pay by the hour. We booked 1 hour for $350. We had access to all the photos and they were edited. We chose a location but really wandered the city for an hour shooting places we found were interesting to us.

Check out series 1 of our photos and you'll see why I loved using this service! I can't wait to share more... and of our engagement!!! EEEE
