Healthy Peanut Butter Balls

healthy peanut butter ballsPeanut butter balls were a Christmas staple in our household! In fact, they still are! My mom and I would spend our evenings mixing, rolling, dipping and snacking away!

I think that maybe why I'm so obsessed with peanut butter...

However! I wanted to make a healthier version of these little bites to share with friends over the holidays and I did just that. They are SO good! No butter, no white sugar... all goodness! Plus... I added in a little extra fibre LOL. Because we all can use a little extra fibre (but really the crunch adds a delish spin)! Here's how to make them and WOW your guests:

natural peanut butter balls

1 cup natural smooth peanut butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons coconut flour
*optional: 1/2 cup Smartbran cereal (OKAY, you can also use Rice Krispies or something that tickles your fancy, but the buds add such a lovely crunch)
1 dark chocolate bar

1. Mix together peanut butter and maple syrup with a spoon. Mix it well.
2. Add in coconut flour 1 tablespoon at a time. Honestly, you may need to add more or less. You want to be able to work with your dough and not have it stick to your hands. Add more if needed.
3. Add in cereal and mix again.
4. Chill dough for like 5 minutes to harden up a bit
5. Roll into balls and place on a parchment-lined baking tray. Then put the tray in the freezer until they are hard (15 mins).

Once they are hardened:
1. Melt chocolate bar on the stovetop on low heat
2. Take out the tray from freezer and (you may need to reshape your balls here now that they are harder), and dip them into the chocolate one at a time.
3. Place back on the baking tray, top with chopped nuts if you wish
4. Put back in the freezer to harden

How to Set SMART Goals for 2020

goal setting roadmap

Can you believe it?

2020 is almost here! If you're like me, you have your 2020 planner sitting on your desk just waiting to make things happen!

Today we're going to chat how to set amazing goals for 2020 without getting overwhelmed!

Because I really don't want you to get overwhelmed when you begin your goal setting. But this is something I do every year. I set my intentions. And I WRITE them down. It is kind of crazy to think back on my 2019 goals to what manifested. I wrote down "launch business doing what I love", "work with global beauty brands" and "get married". And guys... each one of those goals came true. I launched my business and grew it in such a short period of time to finally leave behind my 9-5. I worked with brands like L'Oreal Paris and Aveda creating content. And yes, I was already engaged, (LOL) but I more so meant marry and bond with my partner in newfound ways (which we did). So, give me a HECK YES if you are ready to level up in 2020! I'm going to share my goal planning tips, so you don't get overwhelmed, anxious, and maintain on the high vibe train!

 ⚡️STEP 1: Dream big
Here is where we start. I want you to have a brainstorm session and write down EVERYTHING you want to achieve in 2020. Nothing is too big! Write it all out. Get specific. "I want to travel to Paris." Get it out of your mind and on paper. So you can really see it.

 ⚡️STEP 2: Get real
Where are you / where have you been this year? This is where you get clear on what you accomplished this year (and what you didn't) I like to pull out my calendar and see what happened. What were my wins (and did I celebrate them)?! Tip: look through your IG feed, I hope you have posted them there! Analyze what you did to make those happen, and take note of what you were not able to do. Did you hire a coach to master your sales ability? Did you have a morning routine that helped you get there? Did you surround yourself with positive people that lifted you up, and separate yourself from the negative ones?

⚡️STEP 3: Narrow it down
Now let's hyper-focused and make it attainable. You do not want to set a crazy amount of goals and spread them out over a year just to become overwhelmed. Get specific on your personal goals and business goals and the ways you are going to measure them. I like to separate it by timeframes: Jan-March, April-June, July-September, October-December.

I.e. in January I will launch my coaching program to help female entrepreneurs launch and grow their businesses.
I.e. from Jan-March I want to workout 3 x a week, then in April-June I want to work out 4 x week.

⚡️STEP 4: Plug in the steps each month Now that we decided on what we are going to do, plug-in those goals for the months. BUT WAIT. This is not enough. If you just write "launch blog" at the top of January, you're not actually mapping it out. So here is where I would turn to January and lay it out.

I.e.: SMART GOALS. What are the steps you need to take in January to launch the blog?
Maybe they are:
1. Decide on a name and aesthetic of the blog.
2. Create enough content for a month's worth of posts.
2. Sign up for Blogger, etc.
Now your one goal has been separated into attainable action steps. It's not overwhelming and you have clearly laid out the activities to move the needle. (moving the needle tasks, mean the ones that will get your higher to your goal i.e.: create content, not respond to emails.

⚡️STEP 5: Say it out loud I know what you're thinking... really? Do I have too? YES. Once you say it out loud and thank the universe (in advance of it happening) it is putting it out there and signaling the universe you are ready to receive. I wouldn't be saying this if it didn't work for me guys!

IMPORTANT! ** Don't forget to celebrate your wins! Share them! And don't get bogged down if your goals change if you realize they are not manageable. That is the beauty of this, they are YOURS.

It doesn't matter what anyone else's goals are. Do not get clouded. Stay true to yourself.

😱Want the scoop? One of my 2020 goals: well I mentioned in this email! Launch my coaching program and help female entrepreneurs go from content creators to business owners! YES. It is happening. I know I've been teasing it, but if you want to get first access to build and scale your business, find financial freedom, and properly create compelling content that sells, shoot me a reply, or DM.

Babes, I can't wait to hear your goals!  Once we manifest them they become so much more real! Share some of your 2020 goals below or just shoot me a DM!
