Royal Blue

Do you ever have serious hair goals or some major up-do aspirations for events? And you think you can do it yourself but end up failing miserably and have to resort to your usual hair style? Tell me I'm not the only one! Pretty twist? Sweet chignon? Yup-- I tried it all this past weekend for the winery wedding I attended. I also procrastinated on my outfit selection and went with something simple, and what I thought was a crisp colour pallet for fall, a royal blue dress paired with mixed metals. Apparently I wasn't the only one feeling the colour because at least five other ladies were wearing this exact shade of blue. Seriously, we could have made up our own bridal party! However, the night was lovely; it rained, the sun came out, the most gorgeous double rainbow popped out of the clouds, and I indulged in far too many s'mores from the fire pit. Since I have another wedding in a few weeks feel free to pass along any great hair tutorials. I should probably start practicing...
