New York Minute

Spending just over 48 hours in New York City is always a whirlwind of an adventure. My mom and I headed out on Friday morning for our annual mother-daughter getaway, and after a quick flight we were hailing a cab at Penn Station. We stayed in Soho, not only because it was a quick walk away from the Feast of San Gennaro (more on that to come!), but also because it feels more serene as it is secluded from the craziness you will find Mid Town. While I am still catching up and sorting through a few hundred pictures, I thought I would post a mini photo diary of some favourites moments from this year's trip. We seriously had a blast, the weather was perfect, and we pretty much did everything we set out to do. This included: catching up with some of our family from New York over pizzas, watching City and Colour play in Central Park, walking over the Brooklyn Bridge, exploring The High Line and Meatpacking District, and obviously walking endlessly until our feet were swollen to shop our favourite areas. Stay tuned for more on our trip!
